Abstract
This Case Law Review will analyze the first semester of 2004 which was again very intense and very important for the development of International Criminal Law as well as International Humanitarian Law. No less than 4 judgments of guilt were rendered after the defendant pleaded guilty, as well as more than 120 decisions by the Trial Chambers and more than 30 decisions in appeal. Two judgments of the Appeals Chamber, Krstic and Vasiljevic, will be reviewed as well as the decision “of acquittal on any count if there is no evidence capable of supporting a conviction” in the Milosevic case.
