Programme Researcher (Full time position) at the International Bar Association (IBA) office, The Hague
Department: IBA Hague Office
Reports to: IBA Hague Office Director
Purpose: To provide support to the IBA Hague Office Director in developing and promoting the legal expertise of the office through research, writing and dissemination of publications on key international justice developments. To support the Office Director in the overall management and supervision of the office and interns including contacts with internal and external stakeholders.
Key: The programme researcher will assist the Hague Office Director with extensive legal research, analysis of cases and policy developments at the ICC and other Tribunals, and drafting of key reports and papers.
Job Requirements
Education and Training: Postgraduate degree in law (PHD or PHD enrolment a strong asset)
Extensive knowledge of current international criminal law jurisprudence and developments extremely desirable.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an area of law relevant to the Programme
