Cinema Politica McGill is screening the documentary Mapping Memories, a series of shorts made by refugee youths in Montreal. The films address a variety of angles that shape the refugee experience. From the story of a refugee shelter to interviews of artists, these films shed light on what it means to be a refugee and the subjective concept of »home».
After the screening, a guest speaker, Leontine, will speak and take questions about her experience coming to Montreal as a refugee youth from Rwanda.

Cinema Politica screenings are by donation and open to the public. Food will be served.
