The Katia-Boustany Lecture is an annual event organized by the Society. It is dedicated to the memory of our friend and former president (1996-1998).

Katia Boustany († Beirut, January 6, 2004)

Passionate about several areas of international law, Professor Boustany was particularly interested in international humanitarian law and international criminal law issues. Thus, in 2004 the Society decided to initiate a series of lectures on IHL and international criminal law in order to honour Katia’s immense contribution to the development of the Society and its Journal.
